We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager, Data Analytics - Finance to join our finance analytics team, with a focus on being a trusted partner across Tools &Outdoor to ensure the financial applications are meeting and exceeding all functional requirements, enabling the broader Finance organizations to consolidate, plan, and report on critical financial data. In this role, you will lead efforts to provide valuable financial insights that support strategic decisions worldwide.
- Coordinates the month-end data closing process with analysis and reporting across the businesses in relations to the P&L, including summarization and roll up to the Tools & Outdoor FP&A Group.
- Mentor junior analysts and guiding them in their professional development, such as organizing and leading advanced training sessions and workshops on financial data engineering and analytics best practices
- Coordinate with both Finance and Technical teams to ensure applications are meeting all business requirements. Actively identify and recommend process improvements to increase the effectiveness of SBD planning and reporting.
- Drive innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge solutions and methodologies in financial data engineering. For example, establish best practices for data governance and quality assurance and leading team projects
- Gain expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
- Collaborate cross-functionally in report building and leveraging tools like Power BI or Alteryx, enhancing data integration and streamline workflows
- Identify User Training Opportunities and Needs, to continually improve the financial analytics support offerings to the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
- 4+ years of experience in Finance or Analytics role.
- Advanced proficiency in Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, power Bi, data warehousing and advanced analytics.
- Experience with Oracle applications (i.e., Planning Module, HFM, FDM, Smart View) preferred, or other similar financial planning / reporting software.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and leadership.
- High business acumen and increased collaboration with both cross-functional and business leaders.
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent. Power BI, SQL and/or Alteryx experience a plus
