Job Title: Manager Data Analytics and Insights

The Purpose of This Role

This role sits at the intersection of industry research, competitive intelligence, and analytics-led consulting, with a core mandate to generate outside-in insights that shape strategic thinking and executive decision-making.

As a Lead / Senior Lead in the Analytics Consulting team within the Analytics, Research & Data (ARD) business unit, you will work closely with senior leaders and business teams across the firm to bring clarity to complex market dynamics. You will synthesize research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven analysis to develop enterprise-level perspectives on industry trends, competitive shifts, and growth opportunities.

A defining aspect of this role is the ability to cut through noise, identify what truly matters, and translate insights into clear, executive-ready narratives that support better strategic decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Drive industry research and competitive intelligence across brokerage, wealth management, asset management, and adjacent fintech ecosystems
  • Monitor competitor moves, emerging trends, regulatory developments, and market events, and assess their strategic implications for the business
  • Develop market landscapes, growth opportunity assessments, market sizing analyses, and business case inputs in support of executive priorities
  • Build and maintain decision-ready benchmarking datasets by normalizing and curating competitor and internal information for meaningful comparison
  • Translate research and quantitative analysis into clear, concise presentations, visuals, and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with analytics, finance, and business teams to integrate data-driven analysis into broader strategic perspectives
  • Support targeted business analyses using internal systems, external databases, and third-party research sources
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and help shape research agendas on topics that matter most to the business

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–9 years of experience in research, competitive intelligence, strategy, analytics consulting, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of brokerage, wealth management, asset management, and/or fintech business models
  • Proven experience conducting secondary research using:
    • Internet-based research tools
    • Proprietary databases and third-party sources
    • Regulatory filings, government publications, and industry sources
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Copilot or Claude for research and synthesis use cases
  • Strong ability to synthesize multiple data points into a clear point of view
  • Experience creating executive-grade presentations, infographics, and strategic narratives
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, management consulting, or strategy/advisory environments
  • MBA or equivalent qualification
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, or relational databases
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Understanding of digital/business metrics, experimentation, or scenario analysis
