Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Manager, Customer Solutions based in Londonderry, NH.

The Manager, Customer Solutions will lead a team of supply chain analysts, develop customer-focused supply chain solutions, and improve service levels and operational efficiency. The role will build strong internal and external partnerships, driving order to invoice accuracy, and support forecasting and logistics processes to enable growth and competitive advantage. Additionally, the Manager, Customer Solutions will collaborate with sales, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain planning teams to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and values. The Manager, Customer Solutions reports to the Director, Supply Chain Planning.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Understand the demand, supply, and inventory in key customer supply channels to develop insights to improve operational metrics such as in-stocks and spoils which in turn improves internal cost to serve.
  • Use supply chain technology, reporting tools, and performance dashboards to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in service and cost to serve
  • Improve customer key metrics to be a valued supply chain partner.
  • Drive the supply chain collaboration process to maximize growth opportunities with customers and create competitive advantage.
  • Establish supply chain practices that deepen customer partnerships, enable joint problem solving, and create shared operational and commercial benefits.
  • Engage with customer leadership to match their supply chain strategies with Lactalis US Yogurt (LUSY) objectives for top line growth.
  • Champion the integration of supply chain knowledge into the development and attainment of customer plans.
  • Identify customer solutions that may be applied broadly and partner with sales, distribution, transportation, finance, and supply chain planning to implement multi-customer opportunities.
  • Understand customer metrics and expectations; align cost-to-serve with benefits of value-added solutions.
  • Own overall customer satisfaction from planning through order execution to increase on shelf availability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of 1-2 direct reports in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Travel is required occasionally.
  • Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs.
  • To fulfill these responsibilities, tools such as a computer, phone or, and / or allowance(s) will be provided.
  • This position requires physical presence in the office, in accordance with the guidelines of the Hybrid Work Policy.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (7 years) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in Customer Service/Supply Chain/Order Management within a manufacturing environment desirable and may be substituted for education.

Certifications and specific knowledge

  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships and communicate with multiple levels within the organization is a must.
  • Must be thorough and detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP/SCM experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent leadership and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
