Scopely is looking for a Manager, CRM & Lifecycle to join our unannounced project, working in our Barcelona hub (Flexible Hybrid).
At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Midcore Strategy game featuring a well-known IP. You have the opportunity to join a highly experienced team to make a lasting impact on one of the next big releases.
This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing.
What You Will DoThe CRM & Lifecycle Manager owns player lifecycle communication for the title, from strategy through execution. Embedded within the game's marketing team, this person defines how we reach, retain, and re-engage players across CRM channels, then builds and ships the campaigns that deliver on that strategy. They partner closely with Product, Live Ops, and UA to ensure player journeys are fully supported from first install through long-term engagement, with particular focus on early retention and conversion.
- Define and own the lifecycle communication strategy across key player segments (new, active, lapsing, and conversion-focused cohorts)
- Own the CRM and lifecycle communication calendar, aligning messaging with live ops events, feature releases, and key player moments
- Develop the early-lifecycle communication framework (onboarding through D30), with explicit accountability for supporting D30 retention and conversion targets
- Build, test, and launch campaigns across email, push, in-game messaging, and web surfaces using the CRM platform
- Configure audience segmentation, journey logic, A/B variants, holdouts, and send-time optimization
- Own campaign QA prior to launch, including test sends, audience validation, and render checks
- Monitor live campaigns for delivery and performance issues, and resolve or escalate as needed
- Own reactivation and win-back communication programs
- Partner closely with Product and Live Ops to influence feature development affecting player communication, onboarding, and early retention (e.g., messaging surfaces, onboarding flows, opt-ins)
- Represent lifecycle needs in live ops planning and product reviews
- Coordinate with Community and Player Experience to ensure a consistent player-first narrative across all outbound touchpoints
- Partner with analytics to design experiments and translate performance insights into strategy and roadmap recommendations
- 3+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, growth, or product management roles with hands-on channel execution
- Demonstrated ability to own communication strategy, not just execution: segment definition, calendar ownership, and campaign roadmapping
- Strong understanding of player onboarding and early retention dynamics (D1-D30) in F2P mobile games
- Working proficiency with CRM and lifecycle orchestration platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, or equivalent in-house tooling)
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, holdouts, and lifecycle experiments
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy and cross-functional recommendations
- Comfortable working within sprint-based development environments and influencing product decisions
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in midcore mobile games (professional and/or deeply engaged player) preferred
- Familiarity with web-based marketing surfaces (landing pages, webstores, direct-to-consumer flows) a plus
