The Operations (Cost) Controlling team provides value add by:
- Implementing and/or maintaining cost controlling related policies and guidelines for VISHAY or the assigned entities.
- Ensuring or preparing for cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and actual-versus-plan reports.
- Gathering, compiling and reviewing cost information to identify inaccuracies.
- Analyzing and evaluating cost structures, and monitors organization's spendings.
- Executing profitability calculations for investments, and deriving recommendation for accountable management
- Acting as advisor in all cost control matters.
A manager at this level:
- Oversee Cost Controlling team (SAP, PROMIS, 3C IMPACT product Costing & TM1)
- Support Frontend Subcontractor Operation
- Consolidate Cost reduction report
- Responsible to provide Statement Of Value (SOV) exercise Inventory values for Insurance purpose.
- Work with Division & Operation for forecast and yearly budget
- Review and approve inventory count &/or roll forward reconciliation consigned to factory and subcontractors
- Review schedules for internal & external audit
