About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our Corporate Tax team are seeking a Manager for their team.
Our large and dynamic tax practice operates across Australia and offers access to premium clients and extensive training. You will be part of a collaborative team that takes a holistic approach to tax advisory work, covering all aspects of the Australian and international tax spectrum.
- Lead and manage tax advisory and compliance projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Provide expert guidance on Australian and international corporate tax matters, ensuring clients meet their tax obligations and optimise their tax positions.
- Review and prepare complex tax returns and documentation, maintaining accuracy and compliance with current legislation.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and contributing to business development initiatives.
You can expect to work in an inclusive culture and team; working closely with Partners and other managers across key client matters for a variety of tax advisory and compliance activities.
About you
To be successful you should have the following:
6-8 years' Australian tax experience gained from working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or law firm, or other relevant corporate background
Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation).
Solid research, writing and analytical skills with an interest to develop these further
