The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall operational oversight for delivery of services across the corporate services, corporate secretarial, and trust teams.
  • Works with the client delivery team leads in Cayman and in foreign offices to ensure timely responses to requests, client servicing, and board meetings.
  • Acts as central liaison with compliance, finance, internal audit, and other support teams within Apex Group.
  • Oversight and management of team follow ups on accounts receivables.
  • Acts as project manager for annual filings, regulatory, departmental, and Apex group projects.
  • Assist overseeing and updating internal controls, operational procedures, policies, precedents, and systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity of client files and systems.
  • Ensure client companies’ compliance with the relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
  • Keeps up to date with regulatory changes in the Cayman Islands.
  • Provides effective management, mentorship, and training to maintain a highly motivated team
  • Liaise closely with our overseas offices, clients and third parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and investment managers to ensure timely delivery of a high-quality service.
  • Assists with recruitment, training, and development, performance management and employee relations including monitoring of performance goals.

Skills Required:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Managerial role in Corporate Services.
  • A minimum of 10 years in the Funds industry.
  • Experience dealing with a wide range of Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients, with specific experience supporting regulated and unregulated entities across a wide range of jurisdictions.
  • Flexibility to attend and minute meetings outside of the normal working hours
  • In depth knowledge of the fund industry and fund structures is essential for this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong risk awareness and the ability to credibly manage and influence multiple clients at senior levels across the portfolio.
  • Effective communication, a high degree of attention to detail and responsiveness will be crucial to the role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and outside of normal working hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word essential;
  • Experience in Viewpoint.
