Novartis is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager, Corporate Insurance to oversee our world-wide transit insurance program, corporate aviation insurance, art insurance, and construction insurance programs.
Job Description
Major accountabilities:

Annually negotiate the renewal of Novartis' world-wide transit insurance program; corporate aviation insurance and art insurance programs
-
Work with insurance brokers to design and implement construction/all-risk insurance programs for world-wide CAPEX projects >$50m
-
Effectively gather and analyze underwriting and loss forecast information to ensure that a policy's coverage terms and conditions minimize risk to Novartis' world-wide operations.

Review and negotiate insurance / contractual risk transfer language in supply chain agreements

Manage insurance claims to timely resolutions

Document and implement clear, efficient insurance processes

Manage third-party insurance broker teams to ensure highest level of expertise and quality service

Provide timely responses and insurance -related solutions to internal stakeholders

Support the Executive Director, Global Corporate Insurance on project-based needs.
Essential Experience:
-
Proven experience in corporate risk/insurance management setting

Deep understanding and working knowledge of INCOTERMS

Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain insurance

Third-party risk transfer insurance programs
-
Managing insurance broker service providers
-
Complex claim negotiations
-
English (fluent)

German (fluent)
Desirable Experience:

Construction Insurance experience, preferable

Multi-national matrix organization and life science experience preferable
