Job Summary
The Manager, Corporate Development leads the execution of M&A and strategic investment activity for the company, from target identification through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and close. The role partners closely with senior leadership, providing analytical rigor and deal execution capability to support the company's growth and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions — acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments — including negotiations with external parties such as lenders, legal counsel, and advisors.
  • Identify, screen, and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, including target search and competitive benchmarking.
  • Prepare and review financial and valuation models, investment papers, and board materials to support decision-making on M&A opportunities.
  • Manage the due diligence process across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Assess synergies and lead post-merger integration planning to ensure transactions deliver their intended value.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to surface new M&A and growth opportunities.
  • Present analysis, findings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership, functional heads, and the board.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members supporting transactions; review their analysis and outputs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure deals are executed smoothly and in compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Prior transaction experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; MBA or CFA is an advantage.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing due diligence processes and deal negotiations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic information to senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional deal teams and manage multiple workstreams under time pressure.
  • Solid grounding in M&A strategy, target search/screening, synergy assessment, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Exposure to post-merger integration is a plus.
