Corporate Communication Manager
Role Purpose
This role focuses on high-level strategic risk mapping, proactive crisis mitigation, and the cultivation of a robust media network to manage complex social and industrial issues within the natural resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Risk Portfolio: Develop and maintain a comprehensive issue map for all legal entities and or related/affiliated companies, identifying specific risks and bespoke mitigation strategies for each entity. Crisis Leadership: Lead the end-to-end response to social, environmental, and operational crises, ensuring swift resolution to protect the Group's license to operate. Regional Media Advocacy: Build and leverage a deep network of media contacts, with a primary focus on the local media landscapes in Sumatra and Kalimantan. High-Level Stakeholder Management: Serve as the strategic liaison for crisis-related media coordination and provide executive-level internal reporting and advisory. Bilingual Content Excellence: Deliver high-impact strategic documents, positioning papers, and press statements in both Indonesian and English.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 8–10 years in Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, or Crisis Management. Industry Background: Direct experience in a specialized Agency (Crisis/Social Issues) or "High-Stakes" industries such as Mining, Oil & Gas, or Palm Oil. Geographic Insight: Deep familiarity with the socio-political and media landscape of Sumatra and Kalimantan. Mindset: A strong "ownership" mentality with a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving. Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, crisis-ready writing skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
