The Role
The Manager, Corporate Communications leads the planning, development, and execution of BeyondTrust’s internal communications function in partnership with the Office of the CEO and leaders across the business. The Corporate Communications Manager also partners with external communications leads from Marketing, Sales, Customer and Partner teams to ensure internal and external messaging stay aligned. This person works closely with senior executives to build enterprise-wide communications that keep employees informed and engaged, and operates with the speed, iteration, and adaptability expected and critical in an agile, SaaS/technology environment. They help formulate internal responses in the event of crisis, organizational changes, public relations, or other situations that require change management support.
This person is a communications subject matter leader who partners across stakeholders to ensure all communications are on target, on tone, on brand, and consistent with BeyondTrust’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end management of internal communications including related policies, procedures, and channel governance.
- Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as all-hands virtual company updates, the intranet, newsletters, or regular emails; partner with Marketing on layout of content as needed
- Partner with leadership team on executive communications to ensure consistency with corporate-level messaging, mission, vision, and values.
- Incorporate a change management lens to communications by anticipating audience response and offering solutions to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Prioritize and sequence messages across the organization, integrate AI into communications processes/ workflows and apply agile principles — iterative planning, rapid feedback loops, sprint-based content calendars — to keep pace with a fast-moving SaaS business.
- Consider and anticipate emergency or crisis communication practices in partnership with the wider Office of the CEO team members, GRC, and Legal teams.
- Design and implement a unified annual internal communications operational plan that can be adapted as business priorities shift.
- Define metrics and reporting that connect employee engagement to communications effectiveness.
- Reinforce policies and procedures to mitigate communications and reputational risk.
- Partner with external communications leaders from Marketing/PR, Partner and Customer teams on corporate messaging and announcements — providing an internal-audience perspective and ensuring alignment, without direct ownership of external channels or media relations.
What You’ll Bring
- 5-7 years of internal/corporate communications experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments by balancing competing priorities, adapting quickly, and working effectively within iterative planning models such as agile sprints and backlogs.
- Experience writing for a variety of different audiences
- Experience executing communications plans/strategies, including cross-functional partnership
- Strong attention to detail with capacity to drive transformational change
- Capable storyteller and compelling communicator
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to communicate at all levels and through multiple vehicles of a global organization
- Growth mindset – demonstrated desire for continuous improvement
- Advanced Microsoft Office; familiarity with collaboration/project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and frontier AI models (e.g. Claude)
- A strong sense of urgency and drive for results
- Bachelor's degree required
