Job Description

This Role
Provides operational leadership, governance oversight, and stakeholder management for the GCD Client Administration Team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, risk management, resource optimisation, and continuous team development in support of Jersey FAM's outsourced administration function.

What You Will Do

  • You'll support the Director in overseeing the GCD Client Administration Team, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely administration services, maintaining strong relationships with Jersey stakeholders, and providing governance, KPI, CRB, capacity, and management reporting in line with agreed service standards.
  • You'll monitor service delivery, team performance, utilisation, capacity, risks, incidents, complaints, breaches, and operational issues, providing analysis, escalation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, consistency, and control effectiveness.
  • You'll provide leadership, coaching, technical guidance, and people development support, including workload allocation, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, training, CPD compliance, career development, succession planning, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • You'll maintain strong working knowledge of fund and company administration activities, including banking and payments, CDD, onboarding, investor transactions, drawdowns and distributions, financing arrangements, company secretarial matters, statutory records, and regulatory filing requirements to effectively support and guide the team.
  • You'll promote compliance, risk awareness, and adherence to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices; support Jersey outsourcing due diligence and risk assessments; coordinate governance actions; and deputise for the Director in operational, stakeholder, and governance discussions when required.

Qualifications

About You

  • You hold a Corporate Secretarial qualification, ICSA, STEP Diploma, or another relevant professional qualification, with a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and the regulatory framework governing Fund Services Business.
  • You possess a sound understanding of industry best practices relating to fund and company administration, including fiduciary operations and governance standards.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years' relevant industry experience, preferably within Private Equity, Real Estate, or other related asset classes.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, and can effectively utilise these tools for reporting, analysis, and communication.
  • You have a proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes for teams, service lines, and clients.

Skills Required
