Job Summary

As the Manager of Copy for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that captivates our target audience and embodies the luxurious experiences we offer. You will manage freelance copywriters and be the primary resource for developing internal and external marketing copy. Ensuring consistency in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's brand voice and tone across all communications, you will help drive engagement, elevate the guest experience, and strengthen brand loyalty.

Essential Functions

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy that aligns with the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's brand voice, appealing to luxury travelers and enhancing the RCYC experience.
  • Manage and collaborate with freelance copywriters, ensuring that all content produced reflects our high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Serve as the primary resource for all internal communications, marketing materials, digital platforms, and guest-facing copy, ensuring clarity and alignment with our brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the creative, digital, and marketing teams to create compelling copy that drives engagement and enhances campaigns.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our target audience to create personalized and relevant messaging that resonates with luxury clientele.
  • Review and edit all copy to ensure it meets the highest standards of tone, quality, and accuracy while reinforcing the Ritz-Carlton brand promise.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the brand voice across all channels, keeping the content fresh, engaging, and aligned with emerging trends.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content that meets marketing objectives.

Competency

  • Proven experience in copywriting or content management, preferably within luxury, hospitality, or travel industries.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice development and the ability to maintain consistency across various platforms and channels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and manage freelancers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience working with marketing, creative, and digital teams to align copy with broader strategic objectives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, luxury-focused environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

What We Do

Designed to combine the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton® and the casual freedom of a yachting vacation, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer voyages on three custom-built yachts. Calling on unique and distinguished destinations alike, most voyages range from seven to ten nights, offering many overnight calls and uniquely curated experiences ashore. Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere. As with The Ritz-Carlton® on land, each yacht will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. The yachts are also available for private charter.
