We operate primarily in the B2B environment, selling our products through licensed HVAC dealers and contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver, and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. SUMMARY: 

The Manager of Controls will assist and train commercial contractors with Carrier i-Vu controls. This position will be expected to draw up submittals, assist in controls start-up, support and trouble shoot i-Vu controls system when called upon by our clients. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a primary resource for our customers to answer controls questions. 
  • Assist in operating the existing Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs. 
  • Maintain Technician Certification documentation and establish training & testing requirements. 
  • Assist in conducting training classes for the sales & installation of Carrier controls systems for dealers. 
  • Attract elite contractor memberships in the Factory Controls Authorization Program. 
  • Supports roll out new controls products to the Controls Expert dealers. 
  • Grow the Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the assigned Carrier Enterprise region(s). 
  • Manage the interface between the factory and our customers. 
  • Travel throughout the assigned region(s) to provide support to Carrier controls dealers. 

Requirements:  

  • An undergraduate degree in technical discipline  
  • 5 years of Experience in HVAC Systems Controls support. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience in HVAC systems Controls support. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools and software to diagnose and resolve customer issues. 
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service and resolving customer problems effectively. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify and resolve technical issues. 
  • Familiarity with HVAC commercial systems Controls Software, ideally i-Vu. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinating efforts with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple customer cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
