- Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Does not typically perform the work supervised

- Oversees the work of a team that evaluates existing processes and identifies opportunities for quality or efficiency improvement.
- Develops and monitors the implementation of process changes meant to result in cost or waste reduction, productivity improvement, customer satisfaction, and profitability increases.
- Tracks progress against established goals.
- Recommends changes that may impact floor layout, material flow, or machinery selection and use.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business, Engineering, Operations or related field preferred
- Additional certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership Skills. Problem management. Judgement. Detail oriented. Attentiveness. Project management skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
