We're hiring a Content Manager to lead the editorial calendar and content that brings our campaign strategy to life. This role owns the editorial and content calendar across webinars, virtual summits, video, web content, and key downloadable assets.
As part of the Integrated Demand Generation team, this role takes campaign strategy and translates it into content that is clear, relevant, and useful for educators, administrators, and buyers across the customer journey, driving pipeline impact and supporting customer retention. The Content Manager works closely with Product Marketing, Education, Creative, Sales, and the campaign and channel owners in the Demand Gen team to make sure content reflects real audience needs and supports pipeline goals. The role also aligns with the Associate Content Manager on social media direction and messaging consistency.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
- Translate campaign strategy into an editorial and content calendar across webinars, virtual summits, video, and web/blog content, using performance data to guide what gets built next
- Partner with Product Marketing to bring positioning, messaging, and value propositions to life through compelling content
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Education and Creative, on content production
- Take increasing ownership of writing blogs and content assets directly, partnering with the copywriter and incorporating strategic messaging input from Education and Product Marketing
- Own the playbooks and overall management of webinars and demos, including topic planning, format, production quality, and building presentation decks
- Provide content and messaging direction to the Associate Content Manager, who owns day-to-day social execution and the social calendar.
- Build a repeatable motion to localize campaign content to specific target accounts and states, in alignment with Campaign strategy
- Track overall content performance and align it back with campaign reporting
- Partner with channel owners to align content to distribution, campaign needs, and performance goals
- 4-7 years of experience in content marketing, digital content, or integrated marketing, with direct hands-on writing and production experience, not only planning or oversight
- Experience building and executing a content calendar tied to business priorities and campaign plans
- Highly organized with a strong track record producing content across multiple formats: written, webinar, video, and web
- Experience working in complex B2B environments with multi-stakeholder audiences and long buying cycles
- Education sector and/or EdTech experience strongly preferred, with familiarity across public school, Head Start, and private child care audiences a plus
- Strong experience partnering with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Education, and Creative teams
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, relevant, and engaging
- Working knowledge of web content practices, SEO fundamentals, and performance measurement
- Curious about how AI and new tools can help scale content production and build for the future, without losing quality or voice
- Comfortable being a hands-on producer as much as a planner, given the volume of content this role is expected to build directly
- Clear communicator who can coordinate across cross-functional teams without direct authority over them
- Competitive compensation package
- Employee Equity Appreciation Program
- Health and wellness insurance benefits
- 401k with employer match
- Flexible work environment
- Unlimited paid time off (which includes paid holidays and Winter Break)
- Paid parental leave
- Tuition assistance, professional development, and opportunities for career growth
- Best in class technology equipment for every employee
- Penthouse suite in downtown DC seconds away from Washington Nationals Stadium and Audi Field
Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA)
