Job Description Summary
The Manager, Content Development & Training is responsible for developing and leading the execution of training on all scientific content for the Medical External Engagement (EE) Team, including onboarding of new Field Medical Associates. Also responsible for both de novo development and US-localization of EE communication tools. This role will require collaboration with Medical Directors, the heads of the Field Medical Teams and Medical Operations, and Global Medical Affairs associates.

Position Location:
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.
Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of
their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference
will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Major Accountabilities / Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Facilitate new hire therapeutic area onboarding training curricula for all new Medical EE associates; update/develop curriculum in collaboration with Medical Directors/TA Heads

Facilitate the development and execution of launch training for new Sandoz biosimilars for Medical EE associates

Collaborate with medical directors and the heads of field medical teams to identify field medical training gaps and communication tools needed

Facilitate the development and execution of training initiatives to address field medical training gaps

Secure MLR approval for Medical EE communication tools

Localize and secure MLR approval for GMA-developed medical communication tools
-
Facilitate the roll-out and training on new medical communication tools
-
Support medical training of commercial associates, when needed by developing training presentation decks and facilitating training sessions

Identify and select vendors for content and training application development, manage vendors to ensure that contracted projects are of high quality and delivered on time and on budget
What you’ll bring to the role:
Required Qualifications:
Education:

Advanced degree in medical science (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD, NP, PA)
Experience:
-
1-3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs
-
Strong medical acumen and learning agility
-
Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and ensure timely completion of tools and training assets
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, etc)
-
Excellent communication and podium skills
Preferred Requirements:

Prior training or teaching experience

Prior experience with the medical legal review process
Travel Requirements: Travel is expected to be less than 20%

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $108,500 – 155,000 – 201,500 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
