Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Manager, Pricing & Commercial Strategy to drive data-informed pricing and promotional strategies across our growing business. In this role, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You'll own the pricing architecture for our contact lens portfolio, shape the promotional calendar behind it, and build the company-wide view of what keeps customers coming back. We'll count on you to translate complex customer and commercial data into high-impact frameworks that drive actionable impact cross-functionally and accelerate business growth.

What You'll Do
  • Own the price architecture for our contact lens portfolio, setting price and pack structure across supply lengths and brands through elasticity analysis, margin modeling, and competitive benchmarking
  • Shape and evaluate our promotional calendar, partnering with Finance (FP&A), Marketing and Product to decide which offers we run, then quantifying what each one delivered in sales, conversion, margin, and long-term retention
  • Design, build, and maintain company-wide retention reporting and Looker dashboards to track critical retention metrics across categories and channels, identify underlying trends, and deliver actionable strategic recommendations
  • Analyze complex cross-sell behaviors and order history to develop personalized promotion frameworks that increase customer lifetime value and connect key product categories
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Data Science, Merchandise Planning, and 1:1 Marketing teams to evaluate channel performance and forecast commercial impact on the P&L
Who You Are
  • Backed by 5+ years in analytics, strategy, finance, or commercial roles, including hands-on ownership of pricing or promotional decisions. Your title doesn't have to say "pricing" — if you've run elasticity work, built margin models, or owned promo performance from a strategy, BizOps, FP&A, or commercial team, we want to hear from you
  • Experience pricing physical consumer products, ideally in CPG, retail, or consumer health, with a feel for unit margin, price pack architecture, and how you sit against the competition
  • Strong in quantitative analysis and fluent in Excel and SQL, with a proven track record of synthesizing complex retail and customer data into clear business recommendations
  • A proactive project manager and skilled communicator who excels at navigating cross-functional dependencies to bring promotional campaigns from ideation to launch
Extra Credit
  • Experience with pricing methods like conjoint analysis or Van Westendorp
  • Hands-on experience building dynamic data models and dashboards in Looker (LookML) or Tableau
  • Trade promotion or promotional planning experience in a CPG or retail environment
  • Previous experience in a high-growth e-commerce business or a retail environment with a heavy focus on recurring revenue

What We Do

Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact—and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale, be profitable, and do good in the world—without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal. Glasses, sunglasses, contacts, and eye exams—we’ve got your eyes covered. Shop prescription eyewear starting at $95 online or find a store near you at warbyparker.com Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. As of 2020, over eight million pairs have been distributed—and we’re only just getting started. Learn more at warbyparker.com/buy-a-pair-give-a-pair
