Manager of Consumer Lending Inbound Sales

LFCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Manager of Consumer Lending Inbound Sales with experience in sales, coaching and mentoring employees to meet departmental and strategic goals. Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise the Lending Call Center Inbound loan officers
• Motivate, coach, and develop employees to meet production and cross selling goals and to maintain a positive attitude
• Lead department meetings on goals and new processes and take the appropriate actions to ensure goals are reached or exceeded on a monthly basis
• Evaluate and document employee performance and be proactive in enhancing employee performance relating to cross selling, organization, member service, and phone skills
• Assist the VP of Direct Lending and Lending Trainers in training team on policies and procedures
• Monitor and approve direct reports' schedules, including time off, daily lunch schedules, and the Saturday schedule
• Maintain a working knowledge of all lending technology resources and systems, including current LOS, DNA, and other tech stack resources
• Assist in underwriting consumer loans that are outside of policy and escalated to management
• Be knowledgeable on the credit union's phone systems, reports, and recording capabilities
• Serve as a point of contact for the IT systems analyst for testing and escalating situations
• Work with the Head of Underwriting to handle LFCU employee loan and credit card requests and maintain employee scanned loan document files
• Troubleshoot, answer questions, and solve problems on direct consumer loan questions for staff
• Assist the VP of Direct Lending in evaluating and developing incentive structures and contests for the inbound sales team
• Assist the VP of Direct Lending with the hiring and interview process for new lenders on the inbound sales team
• Identify and evaluate ideas to improve Lending Call Center operations, efficiencies, and lending programs
• Work with Operations Manager to provide monthly staffing matrices and reports to the VP of Direct Lending
• Adhere to all credit union policies and procedures and ensure the Lending Call Center staff does likewise
• Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures
• Develop a working knowledge of the credit union's data and word processing systems
• Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management
