Job Overview
The Manager, Commissions is part of the Commissions group within the Magenta Service Center. This people manager is responsible for the Operations and Analysis of Sales/Care Incentive Compensation. The Manager leads a team consisting of a Sr Analysts and Analysts responsible for the support of our Sales/Care Teams as well as the Compensation Design team responsible for driving changes that are fiscally responsible and effective in driving sales as well as customer experience. The Manager works daily with Sales Executives providing leadership, guidance, insight, and innovative problem-solving recommendations/presentations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring operational excellence and successful adherence of departmental service level agreements
  • Align executive strategic direction to tactical implementation
  • Drive process improvements within commissions and other sales operations processes
  • Work daily with Sales/Care Management, Finance, and peer Operations teams to provide leadership, mentorship, insight, and innovative problem-solving recommendations/presentations
  • Administer and seek automation of commission functions
  • Responsible for achieving service quality results, as well as being proactive regarding upcoming issues or concerns
  • Act as a process liaison for multiple Compensation Policy and Processes and working with other teams to ensure operations are being covered accordingly

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years Experience in managing an Operational group. (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Work experience in Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, or Budgeting, Sales Compensation experience.

Overland Park, KS Base Compensation Range: $104,400 - $141,200

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $110,285 - $198,950

National Base Pay Range: $95,900 - $173,000

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance. Actual earnings included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflect target performance; actual payouts may vary.
