As Manager – Commercial Vehicles, you’ll lead the commercial vehicle function, bringing specialist expertise to all customer requirements including vehicle customisation, supplier coordination, production oversight, delivery management and asset handover. 

This role plays a critical part in strengthening supplier and dealer performance, supporting client growth and retention, and maximising asset value across the lease lifecycle through market insights, residual value frameworks and pricing inputs.

  • Develop and manage commercial vehicle and equipment products 

  • Build trusted customer relationships to identify commercial vehicle replacement, optimisation and growth opportunities. 

  • Support clients with project managing  the build, inspection and delivery of specialised commercial assets 

  • Monitor market, manufacturer and product developments to identify opportunities for product improvement, innovation and client value creation. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, body builders and third-party suppliers to support service quality, delivery performance and commercial outcomes. 

  • Support the preparation of accurate quotations and orders by providing commercial vehicle expertise, pricing inputs, and residual value guidance. 

  • Provide specialist commercial vehicle input for tender responses, client proposals, pricing submissions, and asset replacement strategies. 

  • Establish and monitor maintenance, tyre and related pricing matrices 

  • Coordinate the management of returned assets in conjunction with the Remarketing team, including condition review, disposal preparation, and sale channel selection. 

 

To be considered for this role you will possess the following: 

  • Strong financial acumen and at least five years’ experience in truck, commercial vehicle or equipment finance, leasing or asset management. 

  • Sound understanding of leasing processes, asset lifecycle management, residual value setting and lease modification considerations. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of maintenance, tyre, operating and disposal costs associated with commercial vehicle and equipment assets. 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability, with the ability to influence, challenge assumptions and negotiate effective outcomes. 

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to quality in pricing, documentation, reporting and compliance activities. 

  • The ability to present technical and commercial information clearly to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Strong planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within agreed timeframes. 

  • Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and take accountability for achieving agreed outcomes.
