  • Drive revenue and pipeline performance, providing forecasts and business updates to SVP, Sales & Revenue.

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop a high performing inside sales team while retaining top talent.

  • Lead the daily operations of the phone-based sales team, ensuring accountability for activity, pipeline health, conversion metrics, and sales goals.

  • Build and manage a customer retention function, including strategy, goals, workflows, and performance metrics.

  • Coach team members on sales methodology, product positioning, discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.

  • Improve sales processes, onboarding, playbooks, and performance standards to increase consistency and results.

  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to optimize lead flow, customer retention, and product feedback.

  • Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline integrity, and reliable sales reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading an inside sales team in a phone-based commercial sales environment.

  • Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.

  • Experience selling FleetCross, TruTech, or similar fleet, automotive, or technology solutions preferred.

  • Experience managing revenue goals, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of improving team performance.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales forecasting tools.

  • Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI, three to five days per week.

  • Automotive or related industry experience.

  • Sales or technical certifications.

  • Familiarity with MOTOR products and services.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
