Manager of Client Implementation
Virtual Peaker is looking for a Manager of Client Implementation that will help solve the climate crisis by supporting our mission of building the utility of the future.
Job Description
The Manager of Client Implementation will lead the implementation of new program and product launches with Virtual Peaker clients. Your primary focus will be to deliver programs and products accurately, on time, and with seamless handoffs. Because Virtual Peaker manages grid-responsive DER such as batteries, electric vehicle charging, smart HVAC and water heating, and other emerging technology as critical resources for the electric grid, the successful candidate will be focused, proactive, and customer-centric. You will plug into a high-performing team and must thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong EQ and comfort with ambiguity are required.
Role Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end implementation of program launches and expansions for Virtual Peaker clients.
- Serve as a point of escalation during implementation, building trusted relationships.
- Manage and mentor a team of implementation staff, setting expectations and providing feedback.
- Improve implementation processes and documentation.
- Own implementation KPIs.
- Other relevant and appropriately scoped duties as assigned that contribute to Virtual Peaker’s success.
Education & Experience
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- 5+ years of professional experience in software implementation, SaaS onboarding, or technical project management.
- Experience in program development and management, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Understanding of utilities, clean energy and grid modernization issues, including DERs.
- Strong organizational skills, including project management, process design, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to travel as needed
