About the Role
As the Channel Partnerships Manager (MY/SG), you will build and scale a high-velocity channel partner network to drive SME acquisition and revenue growth in Malaysia and Singapore. Your primary focus will be hunting for new partners and managing relationships to build a strong, scalable customer pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Acquisition & Management: Identify, scout, onboard, and manage channel partners at scale, serving as their primary point of contact for all things Instarem.
Co-Selling & Lead Generation: Collaborate with partners on joint-acquisition strategies, co-selling initiatives, and localized campaigns to drive high-value SME leads.
Partner Enablement & Performance: Empower partners through structured training, co-marketing collateral, joint events, and regular performance reviews (including routine on-site visits and Quarterly Business Reviews).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure seamless partner operations and align channel programs with broader business objectives.
Product & Process Optimization: Gather partner feedback and market insights to champion product, service, and operational enhancements internally.
Requirements
Experience: 3-7 years of proven success in sales, business development, channel management, or partnerships within the Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services industries.
Commercial Drive: A natural "hunter" with a track record of identifying new revenue opportunities and driving high-velocity channel sales.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the SME business landscape and corporate payment flows, with a primary focus on the Malaysian market.
Established Network: An active network of potential partners across key SME and mid-market verticals, including Wholesale & Trade, Retail & E-commerce, Professional Services, and Travel organizations or industry associations. Preferably having ready contacts that can be immediately leveraged.
Communication: Exceptional relationship-building skills with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Malay to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders across both regions.
