- Leadership of a CDD team of over 20 people based in Hungary.
- Leading strategic direction, training and advisory support with regards to EEA CDD processes.
- Developing and maintaining robust KYC / KYB policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks.
- Provide people management and development responsibilities, and ensure team service level standards are met.
- Liaise with various functions (e.g. Compliance) and stakeholders across the business. within business units for onboarding or periodic review queries.
- Oversee new client onboarding, and implement process enhancements to improve client onboarding experience in EEA.
- Monitor periodic reviews to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Prepare daily and weekly onboarding metrics and progress reports.
- Ensure that all legal and customer files / data are maintained, in accordance with European Regulations and Group policies.
- 5 years experience of running a CDD team preferably in the financial service industry
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Understanding of business, operations and risk functions.
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent experience or professional qualification.
- ACAMS or ICA certification.
- Experience working with teams across global offices and time zones
- Experience of working in crypto industry.
