THE ROLE
To strengthen our Brand Consulting team in Munich, we are looking for a Manager, Business Operations (f/m/d) with a focus on interface management between Business Operations and Business Development. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for coordinating and ensuring the efficient collaboration of all relevant international stakeholders – from Business Operations and Business Development to Finance, Compliance, Legal, and other functions. You will be responsible for the operational management and monitoring of resources within the Business Development team, support the development and implementation of RFP processes, and play a key role at the interface between international and local teams. In doing so, you will translate complex requirements from Legal, Finance, and Operations into structured processes and presentations, ensuring a smooth workflow from the RFP phase through to the successful onboarding of new clients.
What does the role involve?
Pitch & RFP Management
Managing the entire operational process from the RFP phase through to client onboarding
Organizing, assessing, and prioritizing business opportunities across clients, services and markets
Acting as "Pitch Operations Lead": Onboarding and administration of the RFP portal
Resourcing & Planning
Monitoring and managing resource allocation within the Business Development team
Supporting resource and budget planning for RFPs in close collaboration with Business Operations
Developing and maintaining staffing plans and templates
Roll out Salesforce and build a clear, user-friendly process framework
Cross-functional Coordination
Interface management and coordination between Business Development, Business Operations, Finance, Business Affairs, Compliance and other relevant functions – especially regarding legal documents and requirements
Acting as a bridge between International and U.S. Business Development and Business Operations, ensuring a consistent, coordinated and efficient global approach
Overseeing supplier registration and relevant tools in alignment with Business Operations & Client Services
Supporting the MSA and procurement process as a link between Client Services, Business Development and Business Affairs
Communication
Translating complex staffing, budget and operational topics into clear presentations and slides
Summarizing and preparing legal and finance requirements for Account Teams
What you bring:
Several years of professional experience in Business Operations, Business Development, Project Management, or a comparable cross-functional role
A successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a comparable qualification
Experience managing complex projects with (inter)national stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strong communication and coordination skills, with a confident manner when dealing with internal and external partners
A structured, solution-oriented approach to work and a high degree of initiative
Proficiency in common tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Digital affinity and confidence in working with digital tools and platforms especially Salesforce
Willingness to travel for collaboration with international teams and projects
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level)
