* This position will be onsite in Sacramento 2 days per week.Manages all activities related to data and analytic strategic initiatives, ensuring the effective development, implementation, and support of Sutter Health Plan analytics through data foundation activities and business intelligence and visualization tools utilizing enterprise technology and platforms (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI). Accountable for the effective deployment of new data and analytic products and generation of data analysis & insights to support business decisions. Oversees the development and maintenance of enterprise analytical platforms, data products and services, including specifications, data governance, data standards, and adherence to change control standards. Uses a strong understanding of data management best practices and experience in data model and business intelligence tool development. Sets metrics for success by tracking operational support deliverables, project deliverables and stakeholder and customer survey feedback.
Responsibilities include managing a team of Business Intelligence Analysts and Engineers. Coaches and provides leadership and technical guidance to independent contributors under direct supervision and cross functionally across teams. Responsible for operational stakeholder engagement including needs assessment, prioritization and user acceptance review and sign off of data and analytic products.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Business Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong expertise in data modeling and business intelligence tools, as well as in-depth understanding of database architecture to effectively analyze and interpret complex data.
- Highly adept in the use of various data analytics software and programming languages like SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and other commonly used programming language and tools for data and analytics.
- Analytic Products and Tools: Build and guide analytics capabilities for healthcare and/or similar industries. Develop robust reporting, business models, and data visualizations to explain business patterns. Translate complex data into meaningful analytic reports and problem statements into recommended solutions.
- Analytics and Insights: Familiarity with healthcare trends, competitive intelligence, and data analytics. Ability to integrate this knowledge into actionable strategic insights.
- Data Management and Platform: Develop, enhance and maintain data & analytics and business insights capabilities. Provide strategic oversight of technology platforms related to data foundation, platform databases, data extraction, transformation and AI services.
- Adaptability and Quality Focus: Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments. Consistently produces quality data products. Ability to simplify complex data into simplified analytic solutions.

Pay Range is $152,776.00 to $229,174.40 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
