Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence Analytics III who plays a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations through data analysis and strategic insights. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making, improve processes, and enhance overall efficiency and performance. You will lead a team of brilliant analysts skilled in leveraging data to develop technology solutions rooted in sound data science and statistics techniques to spread innovation throughout the company. This role builds the infrastructure necessary to deliver analysis, thought leadership, and leadership reviews necessary to make multi-year investments in Chewy’s supply chain.  This is an opportunity to build the data structure, metrics, and institutional framework for multi-year planning from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicate Cross organizationally through the executive level.
  • Develop and own standardized intake processes for building new reports, new features, and enhanced functionality of existing tools.
  • Manage a team of 3-6 Individual contributors, leading their personal development and driving their successes with the company.
  • Perform advanced analysis by leveraging large data sets from multiple systems to surface actionable insights that support Supply Chain and Operations in making data-driven decisions around shipping and transportation, operational execution, and additional order lifecycle projects.
  • Lead and support recurring requirements gathering and product release checkpoints with internal and external business partners.
  • Build metrics and models that evaluate options for inputs/outputs of our network, improving the speed of decision making with salient intelligence
  • Work with partners in data science to deliver the deep math and analytics necessary to drive future improvement to supply chain operations
  • Work cross functionally to drive operational excellence across the business through a suite of tailored products that combine the power of data intelligence and engineering
  • Create detailed options the define the required inputs and expected outputs to solve our biggest business questions.
  • Drive leadership reviews to debate our options and gain alignment on our plans.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders, influence decisions, and recommend a course of action based on data and analytics
  • Detail oriented and possess superior organizational, self-motivation and problem-solving skills
  • Expert understanding of data analysis including advanced proficiency with SQL, and Tableau, experience with Python or AWS preferred
