The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Converging Technologies in Thailand will drive strategic commercial expansion in full alignment with the Asia-Pacific regional growth plan. Based in Bangkok, you will scale integrated revenue ecosystems across Security Solutions, Enterprise Audio Visual (AV), and Network Infrastructure. This executive mandate focuses on orchestrating joint market initiatives with regional strategic technology vendors, mapping local system integrator (SI) channels, and penetrating high-growth industrial and enterprise verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Channel Ecosystem Mapping: Systematically identify, profile, and cultivate partnerships with tier-1 and tier-2 local systems integrators, engineering firms, and value-added resellers in Thailand.
- Strategic Channel Growth: Execute joint go-to-market plans with SI partners to accelerate sales velocity, owning the end-to-end pipeline creation, progression, and deal closure.
- Vertical Market Penetration: Lead targeted expansion into critical growth verticals including Data Centres, Industrial/Manufacturing, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Critical Infrastructure.
- Consultative Value Positioning: Deliver complex, outcome-based technology strategies that integrate security, intelligent buildings, operational technology (OT), cloud, and AI solutions to enterprise end-users.
- Vendor Ecosystem Leverage: Co-develop high-value commercial pipelines with regional strategic technology vendors to maximize localized commercial benefits.
- Converged Solutions Architecture: Articulate the business infrastructure value of unifying physical security (CCTV/Access), advanced collaborative AV, and underlying network backbones.
- Global Account Alignment: Partner directly with Global Account Managers (GAMs) to co-develop and execute convergent tech growth strategies inside global account plans.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of strategic business development or enterprise sales experience handling large, complex technology portfolios. 10+ years of total commercial experience within Security, AV, or Network Infrastructure systems is highly preferred.
- Strategic Execution: Proven track record in complex pipeline management, executive-level customer engagement, and mapping multi-system outcomes (Cloud, AI, Connected Infrastructure).
- Industry Domain Expertise: Prior commercial experience navigating Data Centres, Critical Infrastructure, Semiconductor facilities, Financial Services, or Smart Buildings is strongly preferred.
- Vendor & Partner Network: Existing, verifiable relationships with key Thai system integrators and regional technology vendor representatives.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in both Thai and English for seamless local execution and executive regional reporting.
- New Channel Sales Revenue: Meet or exceed annual net-new revenue targets generated directly through newly onboarded local SI and reseller networks.

- Channel Partner Onboarding: Successfully map, vet, and formally onboard a predefined quota of key tier-1 and tier-2 local systems integrators in Thailand.
- Global & Regional Execution: Maintain strict alignment with global/regional sales teams to ensure local strategy mirrors regional deployment milestones and GAM strategy.
