The Manager of Global Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight reports directly to the AVP of ORRO. The role will focus on Business Continuity Management and is part of the second line of defense independent oversight function. It will partner with the first line of defense businesses to ensure that the business continuity management framework and controls are integrated with and serve to strengthen the operational resilience approach, and that all standard and regulatory requirements are addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, coordination, implementation, and continuous governance and monitoring of the Business Continuity Risk Management Standard.

  • Research and analyze regulatory requirements on business continuity risk, including best practices to support the relevance of the BCM Standard.

  • Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders under the different risk segments, to gather feedback, and to provide comprehensive and effective tracking mechanisms to manage change.

  • Provide oversight for business disruption risk metrics provided by the first line of defense, and identify potential breaches and recommendations.

  • Develop training materials, and facilitate trainings as necessary.

  • Promote a strong risk culture and oversee relevant risk culture assessment processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, with strong experience and a well-understood connection with Crisis Management, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery and Third Party Risk Management.

  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, risks, and controls.

  • Broad knowledge of financial services/insurance business and related products.

  • High proficiency in MS Office products and data analytics tools is a plus.

  • Amenable to work only on mid shifts and night shifts.
