Position Summary
- Lead and manage technology projects and business analysis solutions, including planning, coordinating, and executing successful implementations for SSI Actuary and Finance teams.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications through workshops, interviews, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, actuaries, finance, product, operations, and compliance teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance business processes, data flows, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement technology strategies, roadmaps, and solutions aligned with business analysis, actuarial, and finance objectives.
- Map and document data sourcing, lineage, business rules, quality checks, and maintain data dictionaries to support analytics, reporting, and regulatory needs.
- Partner with FP&A, accounting, and actuarial teams to deliver analytics for pricing, reserving, forecasting, margin analysis, monthly close, premium and claim accruals, and profitability reporting.
- Embed and maintain SOX-relevant controls, reconciliations, and change-management practices; support audit and regulatory requests with traceable documentation and decision logs.
- Conduct reviews, tests, and scenario-based user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure technology solutions meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Drive adoption of technology solutions by developing training materials, user guides, and supporting end-users.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing automation opportunities, streamlining processes, prioritizing backlogs, and applying industry best practices.
- Maintain effective stakeholder management by surfacing risks, proposing mitigations, managing expectations, and ensuring deliverables meet business needs and quality standards.
- This position will report to a Sr Manager and will not have official HR responsibilities/direct reports but will instead be the lead Business Analysts to support different areas of the business.

- 1-3 years of Agile / SAFe experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3-5 years data interpretation and analysis experience
- 3-5 years SQL experience

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
