About The Role

Brand Partnership Manager collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to find unique ways to bring iconic brands closer to our biggest shows & movies through compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions. You will join the team in Singapore and will be responsible for outreach with potential brand partners, to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of their goals, planning process, creative ambition, and core equities.

At the earliest stages of development, you will work cross functionally with the content, marketing, and legal teams to identify titles that strategically align with the Netflix Integrated Marketing approach.

You will work closely with the Content team through scripts, show bibles and creator strategy to identify the most synergistic opportunities for iconic brands to come closer to Netflix IP.

You and the team will research and engage with a cross-section of brands to identify potential partners and find meaningful connections between titles, audiences, and partner’s marketing priorities.

You will guide the team to negotiate and shape robust partnerships with admired brands in support of Netflix’s most prominent films and series.

This new role presents a huge opportunity to be at the forefront of a new Netflix offering, one that not only continues to prove how Netflix is the most innovative entertainment company in the world, but also helps to deliver and grow an important new revenue stream for the business.

We are looking for a proven, motivated and innovative marketer, capable of leading the development, implementation, and execution of brand partnerships and marketing integrations that continue to grow our subscriber base and advance our mission to entertain the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving the established numerical target for brand partnerships.

  • Developing a strategic vision for key brand partnerships and integrated marketing programs for Chinese and Singapore-headquartered brands.

  • Developing and executing a strategic vision for key brand partnerships and integrated marketing programs, focusing on Chinese and Singapore-headquartered brands seeking to scale their partnership initiatives across APAC and global markets.

  • Ensuring close alignment with the  Content, Marketing & PR teams, working at script stage to identify the greatest opportunities for brand partnerships and integrations, where appropriate. 

  • Identify the right brands and lead the negotiation in close collaboration with the Advertising sales team. 

  • Developing a growth plan and vision, aligning with external and internal stakeholders, to deliver business impact. 

  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to our Ads Sales, Ads Marketing, PR, Content, Title Marketing and Consumer Products.

  • Extracting insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the strategic & creative vision on your projects from inception through to execution.

  • Driving direction and alignment across cross-functional teams, content, brand, and agency partners.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing incredibly creative partnerships and brand campaigns.

  • Deep expertise in developing strategic advertising solutions, ideally with a compelling track record of building and leading across both linear and digital marketing functions.

  • Experience building synergistic partnerships on entertainment IP is essential.

  • A thorough understanding of the inner dynamics of how entertainment partnerships are developed and managed, inclusive of scripted programming.

  • Has experience within a film or TV studio environment, including working with content teams in early development work for film or series (or both).

  • Successful experience interacting with production, clients, and agency partners

  • A track record of being an essential member in the development of recognized creative campaigns. 

  • A record of cultivating relationships and a deep level of respect with top brand marketers. 

  • Dynamic presenter who can captivate and communicate effectively with senior executives, showrunners, filmmakers, and partner leadership.

  • Experience working alongside Ads Sales and Consumer Products functions. 

  • Mandarin proficiency required; additional language skills are a plus.
