Grubhub is seeking a Brand Insights & Strategy manager with a passion for building brands and expertise in translating customer insights into compelling brand and marketing strategies that improve brand perception and drive business growth. This role combines analytical and creative thinking to "connect the dots" across multiple data sources to inform inspiring and relevant campaigns that achieve relevance, differentiation and impact.
The Impact You Will Make:
- Support the brand team in evolving and maintaining our brand positioning and ensuring its consistent expression across all touchpoints
- Lead consumer research initiatives to uncover meaningful insights about target audiences, category trends and brand opportunities
- Synthesize data from multiple sources such as quant and qual research findings, behavioral data, and cultural trends, into actionable strategic recommendations and business briefs
- Partner with and creative teams to translate insights into compelling creative briefs and campaign concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders with clear rationale and supporting evidence
- Monitor cultural trends and consumer behavior shifts to identify emerging opportunities for our brand
- Create measurement frameworks to evaluate strategic effectiveness and optimize future approaches
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, strategic planning, or related field at an advertising, marketing or in-house agency
- Experience guiding brand strategy, segmentation/audience strategy, persona development, and creative development/optimization projects that drive brand awareness and growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from various data sources
- Excellence in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling through data and visually compelling presentations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Experience with consumer research methodologies and insight generation, with ability to develop creative approaches to tap into consumer mindsets and behaviors
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner with various stakeholders across all levels and functions and juggle multiple priorities
- Agility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines

The base salary range for this position is below.
New York: $114,500 - $171,500 base salary range
Grubhub uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
