ResponsibilitiesBIM Manager is responsible for leading the entire digital delivery strategy of a construction project, ensuring that all digital tools, platforms, and workflows are fully integrated to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle. This role encompasses digital transformation, ensuring all project stakeholders leverage technology to achieve project outcomes.
- Develop and implement a digital delivery plan aligned with client, contractor, and consultant goals.
- Set project-wide standards for data management, technology use, and process automation and contribute to the development of templates supporting the head of Digital Construction.
- Lead deployment of digital tools (e.g., CDE platforms like ACC or BIM360, field management apps, AR/VR, IoT integrations, 4D/5D modelling tools, digital twins).
- Ensure integration between project software (ERP, scheduling tools, cost control systems, etc.).
- Define information requirements (EIR/AIR) and ensure accurate data handover for operations.
- Oversee quality, security, and accessibility of digital project data.
- Coordinate between design teams, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure all digital processes support project delivery.
- Facilitate digital collaboration, including dashboards, live progress tracking, and reporting.
- Accountable for the correct presentation of BIM & digital at project management meetings.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields with experience of at least 10 years in BIM & Digital construction Field.
- Experience in using cloud-based collaboration platforms to fulfil CDE workflows, such as Aconex, BIM 360, & ACC & understanding of Open BIM standards.
- Familiar with scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
- Experience with BIM processes, setting up 4D & 5D, and broader tools (IoT sensors, AI, GIS, drones, AR/VR, etc.).
- Experience on BIM coordination software such as Navisworks, Revizto.
- Experience with programming or visual programming languages (Dynamo is preferred)
- Detailed understanding of ISO 19650 and other digital construction standards.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, change management skills, and data management and reporting tools such as Power Bi.
