About the Role
Packsize is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager (Billing) to lead and scale North America billing operations as the company continues to grow and strengthen internal controls. This role owns the end‑to‑end billing execution for North American customers, with the majority of billing volume driven by z‑fold corrugate, alongside more complex billing for machines, software, and services.
Reporting to the Director, Revenue Recognition, this role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations. The position requires a balance of hands‑on operational leadership, customer‑facing professionalism, process improvement mindset, and people management. The role will directly manage a team of 4–6 billing professionals and act as an escalation point for complex customer and contract matters.
This role provides an opportunity to be a key contributor to the evolution of Packsize’s North America billing architecture, including system design, control maturity, and SOX‑aligned processes.
What You'll Do
-Billing Operations & Order‑to‑Cash (North America)
Own and oversee North America billing operations across all Packsize offerings, including high‑volume z‑fold corrugate billing and complex machine, software, and service arrangements
Translate customer contracts and deal terms into accurate billing set‑ups in SAP, including pricing, cadence, usage‑based components, amendments, and renewals
Ensure invoices are accurate, timely, complete, and aligned with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements
Independently resolve complex billing scenarios, including contract modifications, disputes, and non‑standard pricing arrangements
Serve as a hands‑on escalation point for critical billing matters, including direct interaction with large North America enterprise customers
-Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a billing team of 4–6 professionals
Establish clear review standards, workload prioritization, and performance expectations
Maintain a management style that balances strong accountability with coaching and professional development
-Cross‑Functional & Customer Collaboration
Partner closely with Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, and Customer Finance to ensure seamless Order‑to‑Cash execution
Collaborate with Revenue Accounting on monthly close support, audit requests, and alignment with technical accounting conclusions
Represent Packsize professionally in customer‑facing billing discussions and escalations
-Process Improvement, Controls & Compliance
Identify and lead initiatives to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, documentation, and scalability
Support development and execution of SOX‑aligned billing controls applicable to North America operations
Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials
-Systems & Ticketing Oversight
Own responsibility for contract data entry into SAP, including review, accuracy, and ongoing maintenance
Lead the billing ticketing function for North America customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses
Serve as a key business partner in the continued enhancement of Packsize’s billing systems and tools

What You'll Bring
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in billing operations, revenue operations, accounting operations, or Order‑to‑Cash
Experience working with billing, CRM, and ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.).
2+ years of people management experience
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial controls
Experience operating in a B2B, contract‑driven North America environment
Proven ability to leverage technology to drive process improvement and partner effectively across functions
Strong professional presence and customer‑facing communication skills
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, consumables‑based, or hardware‑enabled SaaS environments
Exposure to SOX compliance or public‑company readiness
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

The Base Salary for this role is $100-$120k/year USD, however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience education / training, and any special skills.
