Packsize operates in a B2B, contract‑driven environment serving customers across North America. Our revenue model includes high‑volume corrugate consumption (z‑fold) as well as machines, software, service, and other offerings, creating complex billing and revenue operations that require strong operational discipline and cross‑functional coordination.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Revenue Recognition, this role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations. The position requires a balance of hands‑on operational leadership, customer‑facing professionalism, process improvement mindset, and people management. The role will directly manage a team of 4–6 billing professionals and act as an escalation point for complex customer and contract matters.

  • Own and oversee North America billing operations across all Packsize offerings, including high‑volume z‑fold corrugate billing and complex machine, software, and service arrangements

  • Translate customer contracts and deal terms into accurate billing set‑ups in SAP, including pricing, cadence, usage‑based components, amendments, and renewals

  • Ensure invoices are accurate, timely, complete, and aligned with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements

  • Independently resolve complex billing scenarios, including contract modifications, disputes, and non‑standard pricing arrangements

  • Serve as a hands‑on escalation point for critical billing matters, including direct interaction with large North America enterprise customers

-Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a billing team of 4–6 professionals

  • Establish clear review standards, workload prioritization, and performance expectations

  • Maintain a management style that balances strong accountability with coaching and professional development

-Cross‑Functional & Customer Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, and Customer Finance to ensure seamless Order‑to‑Cash execution

  • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting on monthly close support, audit requests, and alignment with technical accounting conclusions

  • Represent Packsize professionally in customer‑facing billing discussions and escalations

-Process Improvement, Controls & Compliance

  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, documentation, and scalability

  • Support development and execution of SOX‑aligned billing controls applicable to North America operations

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials

-Systems & Ticketing Oversight

  • Own responsibility for contract data entry into SAP, including review, accuracy, and ongoing maintenance

  • Lead the billing ticketing function for North America customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses

  • Serve as a key business partner in the continued enhancement of Packsize’s billing systems and tools
