Job Description
Manager, B2C Connected Partners, MEA APAC
plays an active role in Accor's regional strategy, focusing on efficiency and performance to optimize the topline revenue of hotels through the Accor CRS system. This individual collaborates closely with the B2C Connected Partners, MEA APAC team, and prioritizes relationship management for B2C accounts to ensure the achievement of global account objectives and the development of new opportunities and connectivity projects. The Manager drives incremental growth and effectively communicates the distribution strategy and business opportunities to regional teams and hotels, facilitating their adaptation to changes in the distribution landscape.
What you will be doing:
Growth & Relationship Management
Account Management & Revenue Maximization
- Strategically manage a portfolio of leading Online Travel Agents to maximize top-line revenue while complying with Accor MEA APAC distribution guidelines.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to boost sales and distribution, leveraging data analysis to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Director, B2C Connected Partners, MEA APAC, to achieve and exceed hotel targets and revenue goals.
- Represent Accor at regional and national trade events, special events, and networking functions, showcasing our brand and forging valuable connections.
New Connectivity Projects
Expanding Digital Reach
- Spearhead initiatives to connect new B2C regional players to Accor systems, enhancing web contributions.
- Identify and capitalize on new distribution opportunities for Accor and our hotels across the region.
- Utilize technical expertise and distribution system knowledge to assess project viability and prioritize effectively.
- Initiate and coordinate strategic targeted online marketing campaigns in collaboration with OTAs and various business units.
- Develop new partnership alliances, managing legal, commercial, and technical aspects to connect new customers.
Online Excellence & Rate Consistency
Ensuring Distribution Excellence
- Uphold Accor's distribution golden framework across the region, ensuring top-tier distribution excellence.
- Facilitate the transition from offline to online, maintaining a 360° online reputation excellence.
- Implement tech-enabled collaborative initiatives with in-country performance and hotel teams
Support, Training & Communication
Empowering Teams for Success
- Provide strategic advice on partners and commercial levers to in-country performance teams, taking into account the operational and legal frameworks of different owners groups, business units and countries.
- Support commercial teams and hotels in developing and executing effective distribution strategies, striving for online excellence.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to equip in-country performance teams and hotels with the skills needed for managing indirect distribution.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., marketing, business, hospitality)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Extensive relevant experience in the hotel industry, ideally across traditional sales and online technology
- Demonstrated ability to write strong business cases
- TARS experience is a plus
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications
- Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition and high level of energy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
