Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Automation Engineer to Design and implement technical management of automation solutions by software development teams. Duties include: create and maintain automation coding standards; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; review potential automation opportunities to determine best automation solutions; creates and maintain automation library of reusable code; develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; build data pipelines in systems; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; attend regular automation internal forums to discuss and educate development staff on best practices and standards; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support agile scrum team activities including sprint planning, grooming, daily scrum, review and retro; check and monitor application health and KPIs and support production issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Process Automation, including UI Path, Automation Anywhere or similar tools; AI development; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Cloud technologies: AWS or GCP; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; Software development lifecycle; and Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
Pay Range: $151195.00/year to $230000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
