Summary
This role requires a forward-thinking approach to applying emerging digital capabilities that drive business value, growth, and productivity across client and employee experiences. The position will lead automation and emerging technology initiatives, including research, development, incubation, and adoption of next-generation digital transformation solutions such as RPA, Xceptor, Alteryx, Duco, OCR, Power BI, AI/ML.
The Manager will oversee all aspects of deploying and supporting Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) solutions. Responsibilities include directing, leading, and managing tactical solutions related to implementation and support, including day-to-day oversight of the team. The role is accountable for delivering solutions that meet or exceed internal and external business requirements.
Additional responsibilities include stakeholder management, project management, people leadership, process improvement, metrics, and accountability. This role ensures services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high quality. It also involves resource and workload analysis to prioritize and assign projects and support requests effectively.
Major Duties
- Define and manage multiple phases of major projects for business areas, including resource planning, test strategies, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Oversee project activities, monitor progress, and provide status reports.
- Collaborate with technology, product management, and operations to implement solutions that enhance services, create new deliverables, or improve processes.
- Facilitate change management through training and communication.
- Review existing procedures and recommend automation or process improvements; design new procedures where appropriate.
- Prepare detailed system specifications for proposed automated processes and enhancements.
- Maintain project schedules and adjust tasks as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Act as a seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and business knowledge.
- Provide a cross-functional perspective to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business units to align automation initiatives with strategic priorities.
- Define and track KPIs for automation initiatives, including ROI, and process efficiency gains.
- Drive automation strategy to deliver measurable business outcomes, including cost optimization, operational efficiency, and enhanced client experience.

- Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and IT teams.

Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Technology, with 4+ years in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in business process improvement and project management; PMP certification is mandatory.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to implement change in complex organizations.
- Strong people management skills, including team development, succession planning, and coaching.
Eligibility for Internal Partner
- 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
- 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
