Job Title: RCM AR Manager
  • Department: ModMed India
  • Reports To: AVP, Global Operations
  • Location: Hyderabad (Full-time, Office-based)
  • Shift: India Night Shift (collaborating with onshore & offshore teams)
Position Summary
The RCM AR Manager is a vital leadership position within our India Operations Team, serving as a key partner to our onshore teams to drive our "One Team" culture. In this role, you will build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, meet productivity goals, and consistently deliver exceptional service standards.

Reporting directly to the AVP of Global Operations for BOOST India, you will play an instrumental role in shaping our growing operations from the ground up. What You’ll Do (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
  • Lead & Empower: Build, develop, and mentor a highly motivated, knowledgeable RCM AR team to maintain top-tier service delivery and high-quality performance.
  • Drive RCM Excellence: Bring hands-on RCM expertise focused on preventing denials, resolving Accounts Receivable (AR), and optimizing workflow efficiency.
  • Foster Global Collaboration: Work across geographic locations to resolve RCM escalations, streamline operations, and ensure adherence to ModMed’s compliance standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Leverage Technology & Innovation: Adapt to highly automated environments and champion AI-driven tools, data analytics, and tech-forward solutions to continuously enhance efficiency.
  • Optimize Quality & Training: Collaborate closely with Quality and Training teams, as well as onshore coordinators, to review KPI trends, address root causes, and elevate team performance.
  • Support Seamless Implementations: Oversee new client onboarding to proactively identify challenges and facilitate smooth knowledge transfer between onshore and offshore teams.
  • Champion Culture: Promote an open-door policy, demonstrating an accessible, supportive leadership style that fosters an engaging, positive work environment.
  • Inform & Advise: Function as a key stakeholder in process standardization initiatives, sharing critical RCM findings and actionable recommendations with executive leadership.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Human Science, Commerce, or Business Administration).
  • Relevant industry certifications in RCM/Healthcare operations are preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • Industry Expertise: 12–15 years of relevant working experience in core Provider RCM, including at least 5 years as a Manager leading a delivery team of ~100 FTEs across various functions.
  • RCM Leadership: Deep, hands-on knowledge of physician RCM workflows, best practices, and denial resolution strategies.
  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics, automation, and AI-driven tools.
  • People-First Leadership: Proven success in championing quality/process improvements while building a supportive, employee-centric workplace aligned with company values.
  • Cross-Geographic Collaboration: Experience working effectively with multi-regional teams; start-up or ground-up operational experience is a strong plus.
  • Work Alignment: Flexibility to work the India night shift to partner with global teams and willingness to work full-time on-site from our Hyderabad office.
