The Digital Applications Manager leads the support, reliability, and lifecycle management of enterprise and operational technology applications that enable staff safety, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, security, and building operations. This role oversees server‑based and integrated systems such as RTLS, staff and infant protection, building management systems (BMS), pneumatic tube systems, and related platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and regulatory compliance. The manager partners with facilities, clinical, security, and IT teams to deliver stable, scalable solutions that support safe, efficient, and resilient operations.Coordinates and manages cross-functional teams, staff, and resources throughout Information Services (IS) and Sutter Health and its regional affiliates in the implementation and support IS projects. Is responsible for: new applications, modules, software installations, interface, integration, hardware upgrades, major application upgrades, and day-to-day support work. Oversees projects or portions of projects as well as participates in the development of the departmental budget while managing and monitoring the approved budget.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 6 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Expert knowledge of specifying user requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of industry standards to better support business requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.

- In-depth understanding of hospital inpatient and clinic outpatient operations.

Pay Range is $161,616.00 to $258,585.60 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
