Summary:

Join our team as a Manager, AI and Search Experience, where you will lead initiatives that harness cutting-edge technologies to drive transformation across our business. Your primary focus will be on optimizing Generative AI, Enterprise Search, and virtual agent capabilities to enhance efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll design and implement data architectures that facilitate seamless system and capability integrations, specifically for Generative AI tools like virtual agents and chatbots. You'll also be responsible for developing data flows, implementing unified search solutions, conducting thorough testing, and maintaining critical documentation. We are looking for a highly analytical and communicative professional with expertise in Open Search Vector Databases, Generative AI and Large Language Models, AI conversational design in tools such as ServiceNow, and a strong understanding of system architecture and speech recognition. Job Responsibilities:

  • Generative AI for Information Retrieval and Enterprise Search Unification: Lead the development and optimization of Generative AI tools to streamline information retrieval, making enterprise data more accessible and driving productivity. Leverage large language models and Open Search vector database architecture to unify multiple enterprise search platforms, ensuring seamless knowledge access across systems.

  • AI-Powered Automation and Cross-Platform Integration: Design and implement AI-driven conversation flows that automate support tasks like ticket creation and enhance user experience. Integrate AI capabilities across platforms like ServiceNow, BMS ChatGPT, and OpenAI, creating a unified, cross-platform system for information retrieval and end-user support.

  • Data-Driven Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Utilize data insights to identify gaps in virtual agent (VA) and search capabilities, driving continuous improvements that refine the user experience. Develop innovative solutions that enhance enterprise-wide search performance and information accessibility.

  • Emerging Technology Research and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of advancements in Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Generative AI models, and Open Search technologies. Proactively research and evaluate new AI technologies, ensuring that enterprise search and conversational AI solutions remain innovative and competitive.

  • Advanced Programming and Automation Expertise: Apply Python programming expertise to develop and modify AI tools like BMS ChatGPT, aligning them with business requirements. Master OpenSearch and Retrieval Augmented Generative AI to unify search and data platforms, creating a cohesive and powerful search experience.

  • Collaborative AI Development and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, test, and refine new Generative AI capabilities. Ensure these solutions align with business objectives while providing technical support to resolve issues and maintain smooth AI operations.

  • Driving Innovation through Emerging AI Technologies: Leverage deep insights into the BMS IT landscape and emerging AI technologies to drive the development of innovative solutions like the Generative AI Storefront. Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and industry thought leaders, dedicating significant time to exploring cutting-edge technologies that enhance enterprise AI strategies.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Technologies: Proficiency in developing and optimizing Generative AI solutions like virtual agents, chatbots, and language models. Hands-on experience with LLMs such as Open AI ChatGPT and RAG models for enhanced information retrieval.

  • Programming Proficiency in Python and Java: Strong coding skills in Python, with expertise in deep learning frameworks for building, training, and deploying Generative AI models and conversational AI solutions.

  • Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Machine Learning Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-driven improvements. Proficiency in machine learning algorithms like K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN), BM25 (Best Match 25), decision trees, random forests, and neural networks to optimize AI capabilities and enhance search functionalities.

  • Expertise in Open Search Vector Databases: In-depth knowledge of Open Search vector database architecture, including vector embeddings, similarity search, and dense vector indexing, to support unified enterprise search capabilities and enhance information retrieval.

  • Experience in AI Conversational Flow Design and Dialogue Management: Proven experience in designing AI conversational flows using emerging technologies such as chatbots, virtual agents, and dialogue management systems.

  • Advanced Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and System Integration: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and the workings of large-scale platforms like ServiceNow and Enterprise OpenAI ChatGPT OpenAI, facilitating effective system integrations across various technologies and service desk models.

  • Familiarity with Speech Recognition and Natural Language Generation (NLG) Technologies: Knowledge of speech recognition tools like Google Speech-to-Text or custom speech recognition models, as well as NLG technologies for generating human-like responses in conversational AI systems.

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring alignment on objectives and facilitating technical support.

  • Independent and Collaborative Work Style: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative while contributing to collective business goals and driving innovation in emerging AI technologies.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $91,000 - $114,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. 

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
