Manulife is seeking a Training Manager to deliver quality training and assess the training effectiveness. He/she is expected to identify training needs and drive suitable training initiatives that support the agency growth.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality training to the developed training programs, align with the need-based selling concepts in new agent training

  • Take ownership of training program and responsible for the quality of training delivery

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the programs

  • Identify and assess the training needs analysis of the agency force

  • Develop programs that address specific business needs

  • Play an active role in promoting the communication channel with managers and collect feedback on training program

  • Lead projects when required; Play a highly collaborative role in cross-department projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree holder

  • Around 10 - 15 years’ relevant experience in insurance industry

  • Professional qualification on financial planning is preferred

  • Track record in developing and executing successful training programs

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills, with innovation and a customer-care focus

  • Independent and self-driven with result-oriented mind set

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written; Putonghua is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems

  • Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and Chinese word-processing

  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager Position
