An exciting permanent opportunity has become available for a Manager, Advice Implementation to join our Comprehensive Advice team in Melbourne. This hands-on delivery and people leadership role is responsible for completing advice implementation cases and leading a team of Advice Implementation Consultants.
Your New Role
You will ensure comprehensive advice strategies are executed accurately, efficiently and compliantly for AustralianSuper-employed financial planners. You will manage implementation cases, lead day-to-day team performance, prioritise workflow, support service delivery reporting and maintain operational controls.
Partnering with advisers, members and internal teams, you will resolve implementation matters, embed continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen advice delivery processes to support high-quality advice outcomes and an improved member experience.
Key duties include but are not limited to;
- Manage and complete advice implementation cases while leading the team’s day-to-day performance, capacity, priorities and capability.
- Complete and oversee advice recommendations, including investment transactions, new account applications, superannuation rollovers and contributions.
- Apply quality and compliance controls to case work and maintain oversight of team implementation activity.
- Monitor implementation volumes, workflow, service levels, quality outcomes, risks and emerging trends.
- Identify and embed improvements to advice delivery processes, workflows, systems and controls.
- Partner with advisers, members, administration teams, product providers and internal stakeholders to resolve implementation matters.
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating operational risks and complex matters promptly.
- Provide guidance, coaching and onboarding support to strengthen team capability and consistent ways of working.
What You’ll Need
- At least five years’ experience in a financial advice environment, including at least three years in a senior client services role or equivalent.
- A business-related degree or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, SharePoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally within a superannuation environment.
- Experience using Xplan and an RG146 qualification, or the ability to attain RG146 quickly and provide evidence of ongoing continuing professional development, will be highly regarded.
