What is the Opportunity?
As the Manager, Advanced Analytics, you will be responsible for bringing actionable and timely business insights to senior leaders in Finance Shared Services. You will be collaborating with our business and technology partners, and build plan to improve current data infrastructure, reporting process and business performance KPIs.
You will work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches. You will also be responsible for recommending new technologies, tools, and/or languages to optimize operational processes, including cost-benefit analysis, risk evaluation, and developing proof of concepts and/or pilot programs.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with business partners across Finance Shared Services to optimize existing and build new reporting dashboards and tools. Document requirements, data flow diagrams, data lineage, data wrangling processes, KPIs, and visualizations
- Develop, test, and implement data transformation models and ETL processes leveraging new and existing tools, such as SQL and Python
- Develop, test, and implement reports and dashboards utilizing data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Analysis to understand user behaviors to inform product strategies that improve users experience for in-house data products
- Collaborate with senior management teams to develop data and operations transformation strategy and roadmaps
- Raise the bar of data science & analytics at FSS, including but not limited to driving data best practices (e.g. analysis, goal setting, forecasting), improving analytical processes, documentation, scaling tools, and mentoring other team members
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics and predictive modeling
- Expert-level skills in extracting and manipulating large datasets using data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python); knowledge of Machine Learning, Critical thinking, Business Reporting, Process Automation
- 3+ years experience implementing data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to translate between business and technical languages, and constructively challenge business process and IT solutions
- Resourcefulness and a genuine interest in problem solving
