The Manager -Admin is responsible for managing overall administrative operations of the factory, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities, statutory compliance, security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, and vendor management, while supporting uninterrupted plant operations.
ResponsibilitiesAdministration & Facilities Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative activities of the factory
- Manage factory infrastructure, utilities, and facilities
- Ensure upkeep of buildings, equipment, and common areas
- Develop and implement standardized administrative SOPs, ensuring consistent and efficient processes
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address facility-related issues promptly
Security, Housekeeping & Transport
- Manage security services and ensure plant safety
- Oversee housekeeping standards across the factory
- Ensure the implementation of 5S system in admin related areas
- Manage employee transport, vehicle scheduling, and vendor contracts
- Monitor access control and visitor management systems
Canteen & Welfare Activities
- Supervise canteen operations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and timely service
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives and facilities
- Address employee grievances related to admin services
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage admin-related vendors and service providers
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and control costs
- Prepare and manage admin budgets and expenses
- Ensure timely payments and documentation
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with HR, Production, EHS, and Finance teams
- Support emergency response and crisis management
- Ensure smooth administrative support for production activities
Buliding Management System
- Monitor and manage BMS operations including HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and access control systems in coordination with maintenance department.
- Coordinate with maintenance team and vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Shift and Workforce Management
- Manage administrative staff schedules across rotational shifts.
- Ensure adequate support during business-critical requirements, including extended or rotational shifts.
- Graduate / Postgraduate (Any discipline; MBA/Administration preferred)
- 10 –15 years of experience with facility management, canteen operations, and transport logistics experience, Plant Administration experience
- Strong knowledge of factory administration and statutory compliance
