Manager Accounts Receivable Management (all genders) - 1 year contract

As a Manager - Accounts Receivable Management, you will work on best in class B2C accounts receivable and payment accounting processes for all Zalando markets and businesses (e.g. Zalando Shop, Lounge, etc.). 

Together with a strong team, you will work on optimising operational processes related to B2C accounts receivable for all payment methods and markets covered by Zalando Payments GmbH, as well as participating in projects towards Zalando Payments’ strategy. You will work closely with Central Finance, Product, Operations and various Technology Teams. 

This role is open to provide maternity leave cover, and it is a fixed-term contract.

• You'll assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data

• You'll help build allowance models to support financial projections and provisioning

• You'll leverage your strong financial analysis skills to monitor outstanding open balances, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and internal reporting policies.

• You'll understand and begin to translate large and complex challenges (e.g., new regulatory developments) and the risks connected to them into actionable items that lead to effective solutions

• You'll lead workstreams of small- to medium-sized projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes, timely progress, and delivery

• You'll contribute to the creation and improvement of guidelines and processes to strengthen overall compliance

• Strong Excel skills are a must – you’re confident in working with data, formulas, and models

• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus – a good-to-have that will help you thrive in our data-driven environment

• You communicate your main points clearly, proactively, and concisely, both in writing and in speech

• You demonstrate a strong grasp of your financial area of expertise and continue to deepen your knowledge

• You can identify inefficiencies or challenges within your processes and analyze root causes

• You support senior colleagues in developing and implementing plans and solutions to address challenges and meet strategic goals
