This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of AP operations within a growing and evolving environment, contributing directly to process stability and operational excellence.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align with Ryan Key Results
People:
- Supervise local and/or remote staff.
- Work proactively with other departments to ensure all transactions follow company guidelines.
Client:
- Routine interaction with Senior leadership.
Values:
- Oversee the full invoice lifecycle, from invoice receipt through approval and payment execution.
- Ensure strong vendor master data governance and payment control processes.
- Monitor AP aging, backlog, and on-time payment performance.
- Lead month-end AP subledger close activities and ensure accurate reconciliations.
- Proactively identify operational risks and process gaps within AP and implement preventive controls.
- Drive process standardization and discipline across entities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant work experience required.
- Degree in Business/Accounting preferred.
- Previous hands-on Accounts Payable management experience in a shared services organization is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success with managing offshore employees desired.

- Flexibility in managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Accounts Payable operations and procure-to-pay processes.
- ERP system experience required; Workday Finance system experience is a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly and indirectly supervises domestic and international employees.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws.
