Role and Responsibilities

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA graduate with around 10 - 15 years of experience working in Accounts Payable function.
• A candidate who has professional degrees like CA/CMA can apply if they have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• The Candidate should have good communications skills.
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices for APAC, EMEA and Americas.
• Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, handling payment inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax laws in all accounts payable activities.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics for management review.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely approval for vendor bills.
• Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of accounts payable systems and software.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within accounts payable operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes as per the agreed timeline.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable aging reports to maintain healthy supplier relationships.
• Handle escalated accounts payable issues, providing solutions and guidance to the team.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and document management for audit readiness.
• Hands on experience in Airbase and NetSuite will be an added advantage.
