Job Overview:
Functional administrator for the Oracle Fusion Cloud application with focus on finance.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage finance-related activities within Oracle Fusion, including oversight of subledger operations and issue resolution
- Coordinate with finance users to ensure a smooth, timely, and accurate month-end close process
- Lead efforts to document existing finance processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and evidence of internal controls performed
- Support SOX compliance, including walkthroughs, testing, and remediation activities
- Maintain master financial statements and recurring financial reports
- Provide cross-functional support for external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with the implementation of consolidation-related process improvements to enhance management and financial reporting capabilities
- Coordinate and facilitate training for accounting team members on systems, policies, and process updates
- Serve as a trusted finance resource to support operational and reporting needs
Partner with finance, accounting, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, including subledgers with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of SOX controls, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Functional understanding of consolidation and forecast process is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred
