Job Summary
As a US listed multinational with a strong international presence, Movado Group is committed to delivering high quality, efficient, and globally aligned financial management. We are now seeking an Accounting Manager (AP) to lead the Accounts Payable function at our Hong Kong office, which is the regional head office for the Asia region.
In this role, you will oversee daily AP operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements. You will take charge of month end and quarter end closing activities, prepare audit schedules, and work closely with internal and external auditors. You will also have the opportunity to participate in cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance overall financial efficiency.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, process and review internal and external Accounts Payable operations in accordance to Group accounting standard and SOX compliance. Reconcile and review of accounts / bank accounts / financial statements for responsible entity
- Prepare, review schedules and ongoing maintenance for payable accounts for responsible entity
- Prepare and review quarterly reports in Group prescribed format for responsible entity
- Prepare cashflow forecast for management approvals and review payments for further approvals
- Participate in month-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions, to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to prepare audit schedules, audited Financial Statements and notes to the Accounts for responsible entity
- Assist Finance Manager (G/L) in ad hoc projects implementation that would happen from time to time
Job Specifications
- Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance
- Qualified Accountant or finalist of internationally recognized accountancy bodies
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in management and financial accounting and preferably with internal control experience (SOX)
- Knowledge of wholesale, retail, internet selling manufacturing, and supply chain operation
- Possess strong analytical and communication skill
- Excellent command of English & Mandarin is a must
- Prior experience in SAP a positive plus
- Highly driven and self-motivated, a good team player and strong communicator
